Scientific experience

• manufacturing of polyesters based on citric acid and their modification with active substances (panthenol, glutathione) for the vascular tissue engineering purposes
• material characterization of various biomaterials (wettability, strength tests, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, profilometry, degradation studies)
• evaluation of cytocompatibility of various biomaterials in contact with cell lines: L929, HUVEC, ASC, VSMC (metabolic and staining tests, fluorescence microscopy)
• glass synthesis using sol-gel method, preparation of polymer-ceramic composite materials and evaluation of their properties

Teaching

• seminars and laboratory courses in Materials from renewable resources and Biomaterials and Composites
